Project Overview

This one story Green Building features several meeting spaces, private offices and a shower room. Some of the sustainable design principles used in this project are day lighting for rooms, reduction in water use with plumbing fixtures, regional products such as the brick, windows and shingles, and recycled content finishes. The most important part of being “green” was to illustrate to the community that a “green” building does not have to look green or space age. The majority of the green items could be implemented in any new construction project without substantial additional cost.
